This page describes the site’s current behaviour, checked against the build rather than written as generic policy boilerplate. It also records the advertising disclosures and consent controls that must be in place before Google ad-serving technology is enabled.
Accounts and site forms
VerseStudy has no accounts, sign-in, saved library, newsletter signup, or support form. No page on the site currently submits your name, email address, or message into a VerseStudy application database.
Contact by email
The Contact page exposes a public email link. If you choose to send an email, the address and message you send are handled through the email services used by you and the VerseStudy mailbox; that is separate from ordinary browsing of this website.
Cookies and local storage today
The current build does not set first-party application cookies and no page reads or writes browser local storage for user accounts, personalization, or behavioural tracking.
Analytics and tracking today
No analytics, advertising, social-pixel, or session-replay script is included in the current build. If that changes, this page is updated as part of the same release.
AdSense site review versus ad serving
VerseStudy may use a non-script Google AdSense account verification meta tag to connect the production site for AdSense review. That verification tag is kept separate from the Google ad-serving JavaScript and does not mean ads are active.
No advertising is currently served. Google ad-serving code remains disabled until site approval, privacy/consent configuration, advertising-surface review, and the project’s separate ad-serving gates have all been completed.
If Google advertising is activated
Before Google ads are served, VerseStudy will use this policy together with the active consent message to disclose the advertising technologies and vendors actually enabled on the production site. In that approved configuration, third-party vendors including Google may use cookies or similar technologies to serve, measure, secure, and limit the repetition of advertising. Where personalization is legally and technically permitted, advertising cookies may also be used to select ads based on a user’s visits to this site and/or other sites.
Users can control Google ad personalization through Google’s advertising settings. If additional third-party ad vendors or networks are enabled, the production consent flow or this policy will identify those providers and provide access to the information needed to manage their advertising choices.
Consent for the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland
VerseStudy will not enable relevant personalized Google ad serving for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland without a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Europe Transparency and Consent Framework. The production consent setup must support the TCF version accepted for new consent strings at the time of activation and must be tested in fresh-browser accept, reject, and preference-change states before ad serving is released.
When consent is required for a storage or advertising operation, that operation must not begin before the required choice is obtained. A persistent way to revisit or withdraw a consent choice will be made available as part of the active consent implementation.
Advertising modes are not treated as the same thing
Personalized ads, non-personalized ads, and limited ads have different data and consent consequences. Choosing a non-personalized or limited mode is not treated as a blanket exemption from consent, transparency, storage, or applicable-law requirements. The actual production request mode and consent signals must be verified before monetization is enabled.
Religion and sensitive audience information
VerseStudy is a Bible-reading product, but it does not create user accounts or behavioural religious-interest profiles. The project does not use a visitor’s inferred or declared religious beliefs to build personalized advertising audiences. If advertising is activated, this restriction remains part of the release gate for the advertising configuration.
Hosting and server logs
The site is served from Vercel’s hosting infrastructure. Like most web hosts, Vercel’s platform processes standard connection-level information such as IP address, request path, and timestamp to operate and secure the service. VerseStudy does not currently use an additional analytics pipeline to build visitor profiles from those requests.
Search
The current interactive search experience operates over the content shipped with the client-side reader experience and does not create a user search-history account. Public Bible scope may expand over time, but that does not by itself enable behavioural tracking.
Keeping this policy aligned with production
A privacy statement is not treated as a substitute for technical consent controls. If an account system, analytics product, site form, CMP, advertising vendor, cookie, or other browser storage mechanism is added or materially changed, the implementation and this disclosure are reviewed together before that release is considered complete.
